Command reference

01Every command vibe accepts, with its options, in the words the program itself prints. Nothing on this page is written by hand.

Global options

02-v / --verbose adds progress diagnostics to installation and self-update. Normal human output already shows progress; --quiet and --json suppress it. Progress uses stderr, leaving stdout available for results.

03 spec: The global -v/--verbose flag requests detailed…
The global -v/--verbose flag requests detailed progress diagnostics. Default human output already reports meaningful progress. --quiet and --json suppress progress, including verbose progress; their existing summaries, document streams and exit codes remain unchanged. Progress is written to stderr; command results keep their existing stdout contract.

04Every command takes --json for machine-readable output, --quiet for a one-line summary, --invoked-by <agent> to stamp the caller into reports, --unattended to answer every confirmation, --offline to forbid network access, and --agent-mode to say how agent steps run. The full text:

For an agent

This page has a machine mirror. The citation carries the version rather than latest, so what an agent quotes does not move under it.
